Portable water purifier; Wellspring; How to use a bucket

Did you check our last post about Wellspring instructions and backwashing process?

Today I would like to introduce how to use a bucket as a raw water tank.

If you need bigger size container than a water bag or want to use in a fixed position you can use the bucket.

I will explain in detail.

First when we use a bucket, we need a tool to make a hole.

You can use a gimlet (called drill bits or boring bits) like in the picture below. Use standard 22mmΦ drill bits.

Make a hole like the picture below with a drill bit.

It would be great if you have an automatic drill, but if you dont have one, drill using a drill bit on a spot you want.

It is a little tricky.

Then to connect the hose, carefully connect the bucket adapter so that you can prevent water leakage.
Firstly, put a socket into bucket from the inside out.

Next, fit an O-ring as you can see in the picture below.

Then connect the socket from outside.

Lastly connect the component which is called fitting. This is it. It seems complicated but it is simply making a hole and connecting all the parts. It wont take long.

You can use right after connecting a hose of Wellspring to a part protruding from the bucket.
